Knitting this children's tunic involves a combination of structure and simple stockinette stitch. The pieces are knitted with a combination of knit and purl stitches that create the characteristic vertical stripes on the sides, while the middle section is knitted in stockinette stitch. When the piece reaches a certain size, make decreases in the sides to shape the armholes. The front piece has a deeper neckline for the neck than the back piece. The sleeves are knitted separately with the same striped structure pattern and gradually increase in width before finishing with decreases for the armholes. The pieces are sewn together and a neckline is picked up and knitted in rib. As a final detail, an opening is left at one shoulder, which is edged with crocheted chain loops for the buttons.

We use DHL Service Point 59 SEK or DHL Home Delivery 99 SEK and delivery normally takes 1-3 working days. Orders over 499 SEK are shipped free of charge.

If you create an account and subscribe to our newsletter, you can download some patterns for free and some are free when you buy the yarn for the pattern.
